Hey There!
We are Dustin & Stephanie…
A husband and wife team working to reclaim the time-tested wisdom of our homesteading great-grandparents. In 2021, we began turning the raw land God gave us into a haven of health & freedom – found through traditional skills, and the mimicking of God’s Creation & Design.
As educators, we share what we’ve learned with those looking to reclaim their God given sovereignty by tending to the land, growing their own food, and naturally caring for their own livestock. We offer classes, heirloom plants, and heritage livestock breeds to help you get started on your homesteading adventure.
We do not use any pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilizers or GMO’s. We are friends with microorganisms and nutrient dense foods. We are (mostly) low tech and old fashioned, because we believe what God created for us is what’s best for the health of ourselves and our farm.
We are deeply convicted around the methods we implement. Our way of raising plants and animals is not a fad, or the newest trend we are buying into so we can make the most sales. It is the culmination of what we have experienced, researched, and prayed about for over 15 years. This is actually how we live our life.
We are family operated and stay completely independent. Though our methods are far better than government standards, we never want to be “certified” organic. And while all of the livestock we sell are incredibly well cared for, from registered stock, and are not over bred, we are not interested in continuing to have them registered.
We are working to create an interdependent farm system – free from feed companies, hatcheries, and big box farm stores. Our goal is test out these systems, and then share the ones which we have found success in with you. We are interested in community sufficiency, and growing or finding all of our supplies from other local homesteaders. Building a network of bartering and selling to other homesteaders. Limiting our dependence on corporate sources. Our mindset is to find a way to opt-out of corporate systems, and rely on our local community as much as possible.
We strive to set up collaborative systems for each element of our homestead, with each element doing multiple “jobs”, and then be as hands-off as possible. Our goal is to mimic God’s Creation and Design as closely as we are able to.
We aren’t interested in convincing anyone this is the best way. Instead, we are interested in connecting with others who already know this to be true. Those who are already comfortable with our way of farming, or incredibly interested in learning more about it.
If you too are looking to return to living in the way God created and we could be of some help on your journey, we would love to connect with you.
In Harmony,
Dustin and Stephanie
