• What type of coop is best for your needs
• Easy ways to keep your coop clean
• Our best tips for gathering and using your eggs
• The simplest method for hatching out chicks (When a rooster and a hen really love each other) – Avoid incubator disasters and brooding chicks
• Navigating problems that arrise
• How and when to replace your flock
• When you have deadstock
• The mistakes we’ve made and how to avoid them

This class will start with a detailed talk and presentation covering these topics, followed by time for a Q&A.  Then we will take you on a tour of our farm and show you how we implement each of these skills.  Lastly, you will go home with teacher-created handouts covering all the information we discussed in class, and simple resources to help you get started.
